Cuando se habla de discos tributo a los Doors, para mi gusto este el mejor de todos, me atrevo a decir que es el único que le hace honor a la banda. George Winston, un gran pianista contemporáneo, dedica este disco a The Doors en solos de piano, agregandole a los temas una dulzura musical única. El momento de relax para todo fanático de The Doors, seria bien acompañado con este disco.
El tributo de Jaz & Coleman, titulado Riders on the Storm, que se encuentra en el blog es muy recomendable también, muy bien orquestados, y tiene joyas como Strange Days en su repertorio, pero al alcanzar la esensia de The Doors, musicalmente y la selección e temas creo que el único que lo logro fue Winston, con su disco Night Divides The Day. Pueden escuchar tres temas en la radio del blog.

En todos los temas participan los miembros de The Doors.
Para mi gusto, las versiones mas destacables son las interpretadas por Days of The New, Stone Temple Pilots y The Cult. Ya que los cantantes de estas tres bandas son los mas influenciados por Morrison. Si tienen la posibilidad de escuchar Days of the new 2 o conocido como Green album, sabran de que les hablo. sobre todo si consiguen el original y en los agradecimientos estan The Doors, esto fue mucho antes del disco Stoned immaculate. En los pilots en temas como Atlanta de su disco Nª4 o Big Empty podran notar la influencia de Morrison (A nivel Vocal) en Scott Weiland. Y bueno, Ian Astbury que fue el elgido para hacer la gira con The Doors of 21th , hace lo suyo muy bien.
Para mi gusto quedaron algunos cantantes que podrian haber participado en lugar de otros que estan en el disco, como por ejemplo Mark Lanegan ex Screaming Trees, solista y hasta hace un tiempo cantante en algunos temas de Queens of Stone Age. El que pudo escuchar los primeros temas e Screaming Trees podra notar la alta influencia por The Doors y la postura en el escenario de Mark Lanegan a lo morrison es alebosa, pero a parte de su buena voz (ahora bien blusera) un muy buen compositor.
